Israel has banned preparations for the Al-Aqsa Mosque for Ramadan

The governor of Jerusalem from Palestine reported that the Israeli authorities are obstructing preparations for receiving Muslims during Ramadan. This includes the installation of shade structures, temporary medical points, and other necessary work on the territory of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

It was also reported that the imam of Al-Aqsa, Muhammad Ali al-Abbasi, was temporarily banned from accessing the mosque for a period of one week, with the possibility of extension in case of further detentions.

The Israeli authorities have issued numerous orders for the expulsion of people from the complex and have restricted access for employees of the Waqf Administration, complicating their activities.

In light of these events, the Israeli police intend to increase their forces around the Al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan.
