According to Kunduz Karagulova, the head of the komuz club at the school, a competition titled “Komuz küüsü — muundardyn murasy” (“Melody of the Komuz — Heritage of Generations”) was organized for high school students. As part of the competition, participants performed a variety of both classical works by great composers (zalkar küü) and modern dynamic instrumental pieces (aidama küü).
The winners were determined as follows:
The grand prize went to Ainazik Alybekova;
First place was awarded to Aytumar Baltabaeva;
Second place was shared by Ademi Ömürzakova and Ayana Zhanibekova;
Third place went to Nurak Makilov and Aruuzat Tabrisova.
All winners received diplomas and valuable prizes based on the results of the competition.
