A competition titled "Journey to the World of Folktales" took place in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. Information about this was received from the city's mayor's office.
The event was held at School No. 115 and was organized to inspire youth to read, preserve cultural traditions, and develop the creative abilities of students in the capital's educational institutions.
Eleven teams of schoolchildren participated in the city stage, having won in the district stages. The participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, artistry, and deep knowledge of the works of oral folk art.
The jury was headed by Ruslan Orozakunov, a distinguished artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, a well-known actor in theater and cinema.
Results of the competition:
The Grand Prix was awarded to School No. 75;
1st place went to School No. 84;
2nd place was taken by School No. 67;
3rd place went to School No. 82.
The winners and prizewinners will receive certificates and commemorative gifts.
