The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that a group of individuals acted under the guise of police officers.
As part of the operational-search activities conducted by the SVR of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, a group was identified that used fake identification to carry out illegal activities in Bishkek.
It has been established that the fraudsters, posing as law enforcement officers, illegally entered citizens' apartments under the pretext of checking residences for illegal activities and extorted money from them.
In connection with this incident, the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has initiated a criminal case under Article 206 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, three individuals were detained: K.Zh. (born in 1995), Zh.E.Zh. (born in 1994), and S.A.A. (born in 1995). All of them previously worked in private security structures.
According to preliminary data, these individuals committed similar crimes at 15 addresses in the capital.
Currently, the total damage from their actions is being determined.
Investigative activities are also ongoing to identify other possible episodes of criminal activity.
