This appointment was made based on the decree of President Sadyr Japarov, which is grounded in Article 71 of the Constitution and Article 47 of the law "On Local State Administration and Local Self-Government Bodies." As a result, Abdupata Joroevich Matkalikov has become the mayor of the city of Manas in the Jalal-Abad region.
Abdupata Matkalikov was born on January 1, 1964. He is married and has five children.
Education
He has higher education: he graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute with a degree in "mechanical engineering."
Work Experience
- He began his career at the Osh bus depot of the Ministry of Light Industry, where he worked as a carburetor mechanic, control mechanic, and head of the motor column.
- In 2022, he became an advisor to the chairman of the board and general director of OJSC "MAM" (Manas International Airport).
- Also in 2022, he was appointed director of the "Asyl-Tash" boarding house located in the Issyk-Kul region.
- From 2023 to 2026, he held the position of advisor to the general director at CJSC "Manas Management."
- Since February 20, 2026, he has taken on the responsibilities of mayor of the city of Manas.
In 2020 and 2021, he ran for the elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh from the political party "Mekenchil."
Previously, by the president's order, Ernisbek Abdijalilovich Ormokov was relieved of his duties as mayor of the city of Manas, a position he held since 2020. Link to source.
