Tashiev's son denies allegations of raiding

According to Taimuras Tashiev, he did not seize anything but acquired the property. "I bought it for 470 thousand dollars. There were metal structures and pipes on this site, which were later removed by the previous owner. We planned to build a school on the site of the burned-down building. The deal was handled by Bakyt Torobaev, as the seller was his relative, and he helped reduce the price," he added. Taimuras also emphasized that some people are trying to tarnish his father's reputation, but during the month of Orozo, they decided to forgive them.

In addition, he mentioned that he purchased several residential houses and shops in the area where the factory used to be located to create a playground.

On February 23, an audio recording appeared on social media, in which a person with a voice resembling that of Bakyt Torobaev — the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources and Agriculture — discusses with a companion that Taimuras Tashiev and Kanibek Dosmambetov allegedly took the enterprise from its owner. The recording claims that Tashiev only acquired the land of the factory, promised to pay one million dollars but did not fulfill his obligations and stated his intention to demolish the building, but later refused to do so.

Taimuras Tashiev, 32, is the eldest son of Kamchybek Tashiev and serves as the deputy director of the company "Thomas and Co." In 2021, he was elected as a deputy of the Jalal-Abad city council from the Ata-Jurt Kyrgyzstan party but soon resigned from his position. He is also associated with investments in the construction of the bypass road "Özgön" on the Bishkek—Osh highway.
