The minister spoke about the advantages of digitalization
At a meeting in the Jogorku Kenesh, Minister of Energy Talaybek Ibraev reported that the refusal to print receipts has allowed the state to save 40 tons of paper.
According to him, such savings became possible thanks to the digitalization implemented by the government.
Currently, data is transmitted through the "My Light" application.
In addition, the installation of smart meters in 2022-2023 led to savings of 290 million soms and the dismissal of 416 inspectors.
However, complaints continue to come from citizens, especially pensioners and low-income individuals, regarding the lack of paper receipts.
