The Ministry of Health clarified that a referral for a brain ultrasound and a consultation with a neurologist (neuropathologist) is only possible in cases where the family doctor observes clinical deviations. Such deviations may include, for example, more than three phenotypic changes, skull shape anomalies, bulging fontanel, and other similar situations.
“The orders do not specify the requirement to provide a 'certificate from a neurologist' or ultrasound results as a condition for visiting the CSM, GSV, or FAP,” the agency reported.
