- In the Moscow district of the Chuy region, the construction of a factory is planned, which will produce equipment for drip and sprinkler irrigation systems. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The project involves placing the production complex on a site of 10 hectares in the Ak-Suu rural district.

The investor is the Turkish company AKPLAS PLASTIK SANAYI VE TICARET A.Ş., known for its solutions in agricultural irrigation and water infrastructure. The company's product range includes drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, polymer pipes (HDPE/PE, PVC), connecting elements (fittings), as well as solutions for water filtration and separation.

The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic is responsible for preparing and supporting the agreement with the investor.

The implementation of this project is expected to create local production for water-saving irrigation systems, which will enhance the efficiency of water resource use and reduce irrigation water losses through modern technologies in the agricultural sector.

The launch of the factory is also anticipated as a means of creating new jobs and developing related services, such as logistics, installation, and maintenance, which in turn will help form a production base with export potential.
