A factory for the production of equipment necessary for irrigation is planned to be built in the Chuy region. This information was announced by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the provided data, the Trade Representation of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkey is actively negotiating with an investor for the implementation of this project, which will be carried out in the Moscow district of the region. The factory will be located on a plot of 10 hectares in the Ak-Suu rural area.
The investor is the Turkish company AKPLAS PLASTIK SANAYI VE TICARET A.Ş. It specializes in creating modern solutions for agriculture, including drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, as well as polymer pipes (HDPE/PE, PVC), connecting elements, and equipment for water filtration and separation.
The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry provides support and oversight for the agreement.
The launch of this project will allow for the production of equipment for water-saving irrigation systems, which, in turn, will increase the efficiency of water resource use, reduce irrigation water losses, and implement modern technologies in the agricultural sector of the country," the press service noted.
In addition, the opening of the factory will create new jobs, ensure the development of related services such as logistics, installation, and maintenance, as well as form a base for production with export potential.
