An important aspect of implementing these intentions is the order of the Ministry dated October 16, 2025, which concerns the introduction of water-saving technologies. It implies the installation of modern irrigation systems on state fund lands, as well as the allocation of plots and their temporary provision for use.
As of today, 2000 hectares have already been marked in the republic, and tenders have been announced for the installation of systems on 1500 hectares. Project and estimate documentation has been prepared. In addition, explanatory activities are being conducted among farmers about the benefits of water-saving technologies, and two seminars have been held at the republican level.
After the completion of the tenders, the purchase of the necessary equipment and the installation of systems are planned before the start of the 2026 growing season, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture.
