Mechanization of Agriculture Reduces Costs and Increases Competition

At the opening ceremony of the Machine and Tractor Station (MTS) in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, the Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Torobaev, emphasized that mechanization is an important aspect of the development of the agricultural sector.

The Minister noted that the application of modern technologies and agricultural machinery can significantly reduce farmers' costs and lower the production cost of goods.

Torobaev highlighted that "proper operation of machinery and the choice of qualified operators are the keys to effective work. This is the key to increasing competitiveness."

Additionally, the Minister proposed to resume the use of a soil cutter, which will contribute to moisture accumulation in uncultivated lands under changing climate conditions.

The main advantages of mechanization mentioned by the Minister include:

reduction of manual labor and costs for farmers;decrease in the production cost of goods;enhancement of competitiveness;lower prices for feed, meat, and milk;positive impact on the market as a whole.

"The main goal of agro-technical services is to mechanize labor, reduce production costs, and strengthen farmers' positions in the market. This is an important step for the development of the agro-industrial complex of our country," concluded Torobaev.
