The work on supplying the country with fuel and lubricants is actively ongoing, as reported by Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
He emphasized that all oil depots in the republic currently have the necessary reserves of fuel and lubricants. “The Cabinet of Ministers, together with oil traders, is negotiating with state bodies and oil refineries in Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan, which allows for the supply of petroleum products to Kyrgyzstan,” he noted.
Torobaev also added that the monitoring of fuel and lubricants supply is carried out daily by the relevant state bodies, and the situation is considered stable.
Moreover, he instructed the heads of state and local authorities, as well as companies, to monitor the sufficiency of fuel and lubricants and coal reserves necessary for the population and social facilities. It is also important to conduct monitoring of prices and quality, as well as to ensure uninterrupted heating and electricity supply in an intensified mode. He reminded of the necessity for the complete and timely execution of the established plan.
