In Kyrgyzstan, 600 villages are included in the state program for providing citizens with drinking water

In Kyrgyzstan, significant work is currently being carried out to provide the population with both drinking and irrigation water. The Minister of Agriculture emphasizes that this issue occupies a key position in state policy.

According to the provided data, construction work is actively underway to ensure clean drinking water in 119 villages. A total of 600 settlements are included in the program.

It is also worth noting that large projects are being implemented in the field of irrigation water. Currently, construction is ongoing at 14 water management facilities, and design work is continuing for 18 other facilities.

The completion of construction for 55 irrigation facilities, including pumping stations, canals, and other important structures, is planned by 2026. These initiatives are aimed at supporting agricultural development, simplifying farmers' labor, and reducing the shortage of water resources.
