A recent statement from the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic claims that the village of Ak-Suu in the Leilek district is now provided with quality drinking water.

This issue was discussed at the III People's Kurultai, which took place in 2024. In response to the need for improving the water supply conditions for local residents, 1 million 800 thousand soms were allocated from the budget of the Ak-Suu rural administration. These funds were used to lay 1200 meters of water pipes, which allowed the population to be supplied with drinking water.

In addition, the Ministry approved an action plan for 2025 consisting of 410 items, which was developed based on the proposals of the delegates of the III People's Kurultai. Of these, 50 activities have already been completed (12%), while 360 (88%) are in the process of implementation, with no outstanding items remaining.

The main topics of the delegates' appeals were issues related to irrigation (60%) and access to drinking water (23%). These key areas are actively being developed.
