Present at the event were the chairman of the city council Chyngyz Kimsanov and deputies of the city council. At the beginning of the meeting, the chairman informed the participants about the rules for conducting the kurultai and the process of electing delegates.
Fifty-eight delegates from various electoral districts of the city participated in the meeting. As a result of the voting, Erkinbek Egemberdiev and Nazgul Babakanova were elected as delegates from Kara-Kul to the IV People's Kurultai by a majority vote. The reserve list included Mirlan Kalpakbaev and Ratbu Jenalieva.
In addition, the participants raised important issues concerning city life that require resolution at the state level and instructed the delegates to convey them to the participants of the kurultai.
