As Kaliev noted, this type of irrigation, known as "freezing," serves as a preparatory stage before the spring agricultural work. "Agriculture is the main focus of our district, and attention to irrigation systems is a key priority for us," he added.
Timely irrigation is extremely important for obtaining a quality harvest. Freezing irrigation helps retain moisture and prevents water shortages in early spring.
Currently, 8,500 hectares have already been irrigated out of the planned 9,000. Barley, wheat, and potatoes will be planted in these areas in the spring," emphasized Nurzat Kaliev.
