Idirisov also noted that the creation of cooperatives is possible not only through the consolidation of land. Farmers can jointly use agricultural machinery, livestock, and other resources. As an example, he cited a case from the Naryn region, where residents of one street, consisting of 20-30 families, registered a cooperative by combining their tractors, tools, farm buildings, and livestock.
Additionally, cooperatives can be formed on a production basis. In the Issyk-Kul region, there is a village where almost all residents are engaged in berry cultivation. For further development, they need to legally formalize their cooperation and continue their activities, including attracting modern equipment, such as for drip irrigation.
A representative of the ministry added that preferential financing conditions are provided for cooperatives, such as reduced interest rates for purchasing equipment for drip and sprinkler irrigation. Financing can be obtained through various mechanisms, including the FOTUP programs.
Idirisov also noted that the unification of farmers allows for the creation of the necessary volumes of products for processing and export. This year, China expressed interest in importing Kyrgyz cherries in volumes of up to 10,000 tons. A corresponding protocol for the export of this product has already been signed between Kyrgyzstan and China.
