The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic has summarized the results of 2025, which became a landmark year for the agricultural sector due to the active development of cooperation and modernization of infrastructure.
In the field of processing and logistics, the republic currently has 483 enterprises, of which 39 were opened in 2025. Small businesses are represented by 5,200 companies, among which 61 new organizations appeared this year. The country's logistics infrastructure includes:
40 modern trade and logistics centers; 264 vegetable storage facilities; 115 slaughter points that meet modern requirements.
Product quality has become one of the priorities: 56 enterprises in the sector have implemented international safety standards.
In the area of cooperation and technical support for farmers, active unification continues. Currently, there are 821 agricultural cooperatives operating in the republic, including 68 new ones.
To support mechanization in 2025, a record number of 9,079 units of agricultural machinery were leased to farmers for a total amount of 25.2 billion soms. The maintenance of this machinery is provided by 186 machine and tractor stations of various ownership forms.
The social effect of implementing state measures is significant: the sector has provided stable employment for 31,276 people. In the field of agricultural product processing, 1,264 new jobs were created in 2025 alone.
Experts emphasize that 2025 laid the foundation for achieving technological sovereignty and sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex of Kyrgyzstan.
