The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic is actively implementing plans to establish 385 processing enterprises across the country. This will increase the level of agricultural product processing to 25% by 2030, reports the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the KR.
As part of the analysis of the agricultural potential of the Naryn region, the opening of two trade-logistics centers and three processing enterprises is planned. These enterprises will take into account the climatic and geographical features of the region, which will help preserve agricultural products, reduce losses, and increase processing volumes. Their main areas of work will include the processing of wheat, vegetables, fruits, milk, meat, wool, as well as the production of oil and feed.
The plans for the establishment of enterprises in various districts of the region are as follows:
Naryn District – 10 processing enterprises;
Naryn District – 1 trade-logistics center and 6 processing enterprises;
Ak-Tal District – 3 processing enterprises;
Jumgal District – 5 processing enterprises;
Kochkor District – 1 trade-logistics center and 7 processing enterprises.
The Ministry will continue to cooperate with local authorities to enhance the agro-industrial potential of the Naryn region and other regions of the country.
The department calls on domestic entrepreneurs and investors to participate in the implementation of these projects, which open new opportunities for the development of agribusiness and processing in the regions.
