The cost of this fleet amounts to 92.6 million soms.
“The vehicles purchased with state budget funds will be distributed between the Water Resources Service and the Fisheries Department,” the press release specifies.
In his speech, Kasymaliev noted that the agricultural sector occupies a key position in the state policy conducted under the leadership of the president and is the main driver of the real economy of the country.
“The agricultural sector plays an important role in the development of industry. In Kyrgyzstan, the number of processing enterprises operating both seasonally and year-round has increased to 425. At the initiative of the president, hundreds of new enterprises are opened annually. This year, 119 new organizations were launched, of which more than half, namely 53%, are related to agriculture and processing,” he added.
The chairman also emphasized the importance of modernization and technical equipping of the irrigation sector in the country's water management.
“If in 2024, 1 billion soms were allocated for irrigation, then in the first 11 months of 2025, this figure increased to 1.7 billion soms. Active work is underway on cleaning, constructing, and strengthening canals, as well as building reservoirs to regulate water flows. As part of improving the working conditions of all water management services of the Ministry of Agriculture, 286 units of specialized equipment were purchased in 2024-2025,” he reported.
In addition, the department informed about the holding of a food product fair at the T. Usubaliev Square and in the Asanbay microdistrict in Bishkek. The products are sold at prices lower than market prices, and such events will be held weekly in various regions of the country until the summer season.
