Among the grant recipients is the State Natural Park "Chon-Kemin." The total amount of allocated funds was 534 thousand dollars. To participate in the competitive selection, it was necessary to provide a land plot of at least 5 hectares and a corresponding business plan.
This initiative is aimed at restoring forest resources, improving the quality of seedlings, and promoting ecological sustainability.
Zhanibek Kerimaliev, the First Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, noted that the creation of modern nurseries is an important step in forest restoration and ensuring the country's future.
He added, "We are already laying the foundations for the restoration of ecosystems and adapting rural communities to climate change."
