How digital services help Kyrgyz farmers increase sales and save time

A national project called "30+20+10" is being implemented in Kyrgyzstan, aimed at comprehensive digitalization of the agricultural sector.

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, the new initiative is an improved version of the "3+2" model and includes additional measures related to the processing of agricultural products.

As part of the project, a unified digital registry of farmers is being created, which includes passport data, information about land plots, agricultural machinery, equipment, and other important resources of the farms. Currently, over 400,000 farmers are registered in the system.

Key processes in the agricultural sector are now carried out online:

including phytosanitary control, plant quarantine, certification, as well as import and export procedures. Farmers have the opportunity to submit applications and receive necessary documents remotely, significantly reducing time and lowering costs for administrative procedures.

The first successes of the project are already noticeable on the ground.

Kubatbek Amantur, a farmer from the village of Jon-Bulak in the Naryn region, who raises horses and livestock, notes that the use of digital tools helps to keep records more accurately and quickly organize product sales. According to him, recently fattened bulls were sold for 90–95 thousand soms, and demand from local consumers remains stable.

Ministry representatives emphasize that digitalization in agriculture will become one of the key factors for increasing productivity and developing the processing industry.
