In the Kyrgyz Republic, an advanced seed sowing method has been implemented for the first time, which has already proven its effectiveness in practice over many years. This was reported by Nurdin Dovletov, head of the Department of Interaction with Regions and Land Resources of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
Dovletov noted that this method significantly reduces fertilizer consumption, helps increase yields, and limits weed growth. Additionally, it helps to lower soil acidity.
Main stages of the method:
For sowing 200 kg of barley per hectare, only 10 kg of nitrate is needed.
The seeds are mixed with nitrate and left for 1-2 days.
During this time, the seeds receive the necessary amount of fertilizer.
Then the mixture is placed in a seeder for sowing.
No additional fertilizer application along the rows is required.
The level of weed growth remains at a minimal level.
Soil acidity is reduced.
Adding 1 kg of lime makes the process even more productive.
The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry recommends that farmers pay attention to this effective and economical sowing method.
