The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry is calling on businessmen engaged in trout export to complete all necessary procedures.

According to the agency's information, the growing consumer interest and stable prices create favorable conditions for trout farming in the country.
“The demand for aquaculture products, especially trout, remains high in the republic. According to specialists, the domestic price for trout ranges from 600 to 700 soms per kilogram, depending on the region, supply conditions, and the size of the fish,” the press release states.
With the increase in consumer demand, there is a growth in both production volumes and the number of farms engaged in trout farming. The domestic market shows positive trends, and export opportunities continue to develop,” the ministry added.

In light of the growing interest from external markets, especially Russia, the ministry strongly recommends that all trout exporters contact relevant institutions in advance for consultations and to undergo the necessary procedures. Timely interaction with the ministry will help ensure compliance with the requirements of the receiving party, proper documentation for exports, and uninterrupted supplies of products to the external market.

It is worth noting that fish producers from Kyrgyzstan exporting their products to Russia express concern due to serious problems they have faced recently. According to them, there have been increased instances of cargo delays by the Rosselkhoznadzor, as well as excessive inspections and the creation of unjustified obstacles.
