In Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry has launched the development of a new electronic system. It aims to digitize the registration of pesticides and agrochemicals, as well as to create a unified electronic catalog of these substances.
This system is intended to maintain up-to-date documentation on approved substances for use, as well as to track their journey from registration to the moment they arrive at the warehouse.
This project is being implemented as part of the FAO and GEF initiative called "Pesticide Life Cycle Management and Elimination of POP Pesticides in Central Asian Countries and Turkey." The platform will create a unified information space for government agencies, suppliers, and agricultural product manufacturers, which will modernize state control and enhance the safety of chemical substances used for plant protection. Currently, all pesticides and agrochemicals registered in the republic over the past ten years are being entered into the system, which will help form a comprehensive and updated registry.

The implementation of this electronic platform will be a significant step towards ensuring the safe use of pesticides and agrochemicals, improving state control, and enhancing the quality of agricultural production in Kyrgyzstan.
