During the discussion, clarifications to the Regulation on the procedure for state architectural and construction control were presented. Now, the inclusion of information about capital construction, reconstruction, repurposing, and redesign (except for projects financed from the republican and local budgets) in the Register of construction projects will be done on a paid basis.
The amounts and procedure for payment will be determined by the regulatory acts of the Kyrgyz Republic. Before submitting an application to the State Architectural and Construction Control Department for the inclusion of a project in the Register, construction companies will have to make the corresponding payment.
The main goals of introducing paid services include:
* Creating a unified mechanism for registering projects
* Improving the quality and safety of construction
* Forming the Register of construction projects
* Ensuring continuous state control in construction
* Reducing corruption risks
The Minister noted that these changes are aimed at strengthening order in the construction sector and ensuring safety at all stages of construction by creating a unified system for registering projects. "Our task is to establish open, systematic, and responsible control, as well as to support the construction industry," he emphasized.
During the meeting, representatives of construction companies asked numerous questions and provided their comments.
