According to the new document, the museum-reserve "Uzgen" will receive a number of archaeological sites, including:
- three mausoleums;
- a minaret;
- the first shahristan, which includes the mausoleum of Said Burkhoniddin Kilych;
- a protected area of 3.5 hectares.
Additionally, the second shahristan, located in the N. Aznabaev Park, will be transferred to the museum's balance, where current excavations occupy an area of 0.12 hectares.
The document emphasizes that this decision is aimed at preserving and developing the historical and cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan.
It is planned that the work on the conservation, restoration, and museification of the new sites will be carried out in cooperation with the Uzgen city administration and the district administration of the Osh region.
This resolution comes into effect from the moment of its official publication.
