The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has given the green light for the change of designation of a land plot in the Osh region for the establishment of the border outpost "Ak-Buura".

According to the information contained in the resolution signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet, Adylbek Kasymaliev, the plot of land measuring 1.92 hectares, located in the Kara-Suu district, will be reclassified from "agricultural land" to "land for industry, transport, communications, energy, defense, and other needs".

This decision was made taking into account the opinions of the presidential representative in the Osh region and the administration of the Kara-Suu district.

Local authorities have been instructed to make changes to the land documents, as well as to develop and approve urban planning documentation in accordance with current legislation. It is necessary to comply with sanitary, environmental, and seismic standards during the construction process.

Furthermore, in the event that objects of historical and cultural heritage are discovered in this area, their preservation must be ensured in accordance with legislative requirements.
