The data indicates an expansion of agricultural infrastructure, an increase in production volumes, and the creation of new jobs.
“Currently, there are 483 processing enterprises operating in the country, 39 of which were opened this year. There are also 5,200 small enterprises, 61 of which were established in 2025. The logistics infrastructure includes 40 trade and logistics centers, 264 vegetable storage facilities, and 115 livestock slaughter points,” the statement notes.
Particular attention is paid to quality standards: international norms have been implemented at 56 enterprises. Cooperatives are actively developing in rural areas — there are currently 821 agricultural cooperatives, 68 of which were created this year.
“Agrarians have received significant support in mechanization: 9,079 units of agricultural machinery have been leased for a total of 25.2 billion soms. There are 186 machine-technical stations operating in the republic (state, municipal, and private). Thanks to these measures, 31,276 new jobs have been created in the sector, of which 1,264 are new vacancies,” emphasized the Ministry of Agriculture.
