Kerimaliev noted that the country is experiencing positive growth rates, which are assessed as quite satisfactory by the Ministry of Agriculture.
He also added that the macroeconomic situation has remained stable. The volume of gross agricultural output increased by 67 billion 444 million soms compared to the same period in 2024, indicating a growth rate of 102%.
As reported by the First Deputy Minister, the output of the processing industry amounted to 94 billion 230 million soms, with growth rates in this sector reaching 127.8%.
“This indicator can be considered quite good, as we pay great attention to processing. It contributes to economic development and the creation of new jobs,” he emphasized.
Kerimaliev also noted that the republic aims to export processed products rather than raw materials in their unprocessed form. “As is known, we are already fully self-sufficient in six main types of food products,” he added.
As part of food security, the republic is fully self-sufficient in nine product categories, and there is no deficit in six of them, which creates favorable conditions,” he concluded.
