According to her, from January to November 2025, the volume of industrial production reached 686 billion soms, which is 10% more compared to the same period last year.
“The increase in industrial production from January to November 2024 was made possible by growth in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, the production of rubber and plastic products, construction materials, as well as in the areas of wood and paper products, printing, food and tobacco industries, the chemical sector, textile production, and mining,” noted Kerimalieva.
In addition, the gross output in agriculture, forestry, and fishing during the specified period amounted to 437 billion soms, which is 2% more compared to the previous year, thanks to growth in the livestock sector.
The gross output in construction reached approximately 319 billion soms, increasing by 29%.
“The increase in gross output in construction compared to January-November 2024 is associated with growth in investments in fixed capital, as well as with the implementation of capital and current repairs,” added Kerimalieva.
