In 2025, 63 new enterprises and 2,700 jobs were created, - Ministry of Agriculture

As of the end of 2025, within the framework of further development of the country's agro-industrial complex, 63 new facilities have been put into operation, including enterprises for processing agricultural products and trade-logistics infrastructure, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Among the created facilities are centers for logistics and trade, as well as factories engaged in the processing of grains, vegetables, and fruits, production of dairy products, meat, fish, vegetable oil, and wool. In addition, facilities for organic production are planned.

“The implementation of these projects has led to the creation of 2,707 new jobs, which has positively impacted the development of the regions, increased the level of employment, and strengthened the production potential of the agro-industrial sector. Also, according to data for January–November 2025, the share of food industry enterprises in the total volume of industry in the republic amounted to 17.4%,” the press service noted.

According to preliminary data, during the 11 months of 2025, enterprises in the agro-industrial complex produced food products worth 94.2 billion soms at current prices, corresponding to a physical volume index of 127.8%.

According to the development program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030 and in accordance with the targeted guidelines of state policy in the agro-industrial complex, the commissioning of 385 processing enterprises is planned. This will allow for an increase in the level of processing of agricultural products to 25%. The total amount of investments in this area will be 20.96 billion soms.

In 2026, the opening of 75 new processing enterprises is planned, with an expected investment volume of 9.1 billion soms. The Ministry will continue its active work to achieve the established target indicators.
