In Kyrgyzstan, 63 agricultural enterprises will be established in 2025

In 2025, Kyrgyzstan made a significant step in the development of its agro-industrial complex by commissioning 63 new facilities that encompass the processing of agricultural products and trade-logistics infrastructure.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, among these facilities are trade-logistics centers as well as enterprises engaged in the processing of grains, vegetables, and fruits, the production of milk, meat, fish, wool, and vegetable oil, along with organic production facilities.

These initiatives created 2,707 new jobs, which in turn contributes to regional development, increases employment, and strengthens the production potential of Kyrgyzstan's agro-sector. According to data for January-November 2025, the share of food enterprises in the total volume of the country's industry was 17.4%.

According to preliminary data, for the 11 months of 2025, the agro-industrial complex produced food products worth 94.2 billion soms at current prices, with a physical volume index of 127.8%.

In accordance with the development program of Kyrgyzstan until 2030, as well as within the framework of state policy in the agro-industrial sector, it is planned to commission 385 processing enterprises, which will allow increasing the processing level to 25%. The total investment in these projects will amount to 20.96 billion soms.

In 2026, the launch of 75 new agricultural product processing enterprises is expected, with anticipated investments of 9.1 billion soms. The Ministry will continue its work to achieve the planned indicators,” the department reported.
