According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture, the opening of TLCs and processing enterprises will take into account the climatic and geographical conditions of the region. This will help preserve agricultural products, minimize losses, and increase the volume of processing. The enterprises will be engaged in the processing of wheat, vegetables, fruits, milk, meat, wool, as well as the production of oil and feed.
The planned distribution by districts is as follows:
* Issyk-Kul District – 1 TLC, 20 processing enterprises;
* Ak-Suu District – 1 TLC, 6 processing enterprises;
* Jeti-Oguz District – 2 TLCs, 15 processing enterprises;
* Ton District – 1 TLC, 6 processing enterprises;
* Tyup District – 8 processing enterprises;
* city of Balykchy – 1 TLC, 3 processing enterprises;
* city of Karakol – 8 processing enterprises.
These measures will cover all districts and rural communities, which will provide processing enterprises with stable raw materials depending on the specialization of the regions. It is expected that this will lead to a reduction in losses of agricultural products, the creation of new jobs, and an improvement in the competitiveness of the agro-industrial complex.
The Ministry also calls on local entrepreneurs and investors to cooperate in implementing these initiatives, which will create new opportunities for the development of processing and agribusiness in the region.
