In this regard, as stated by the ministry, irrigation volumes will be limited, which will lead to water shortages in a number of regions.
The ministry strongly recommends that farmers and peasants take the following measures:
- implement water-saving technologies (drip and sprinkler irrigation);
- switch to crops that require less water resources;
- use drought-resistant seeds.
For information on water supply issues, it is recommended to contact the district agricultural development offices or specialists from the ministry.
“During the irrigation season, the ministry will monitor the fair and balanced distribution of water resources.
We urge farmers and peasants to approach the situation with understanding and actively apply water-saving methods,” the agency noted.
