According to the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture, climate change and reduced precipitation may lead to a shortage of water resources by 2026.

In light of this situation, the ministry has urged farmers to adopt technologies that conserve water, such as drip and sprinkler irrigation. It is also recommended to switch to cultivating plants that require less water and to use drought-resistant seeds.

The ministry added that for consultations on water supply issues, farmers can contact the district agricultural development offices or specialists from the ministry.

The ministry assured that during the irrigation season, efforts will be made for the fair distribution of water resources and called on everyone to understand the current situation and actively implement water-saving methods.
