In addition, the participants of the meeting discussed the results of the 2025 vegetation period and provided reports on the implementation of the tasks outlined at the summits of the heads of state that established the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
“Despite the challenging climatic conditions of the past irrigation season, the cooperation of all member countries of the ICWC has made it possible to ensure stable vegetation. Such meetings lay the foundation for further joint interaction. We and our partners from Central Asia strive for a fair distribution of transboundary water resources, taking into account the interests of all parties,” noted the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurzhan Nurzhigitov.
