- The unification of farmers into cooperatives is a necessary condition for increasing their competitiveness and aligns with global practices. This was announced on the radio by the head of the Department of Crop Production, Horticulture, and Cooperation of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing, Turat Idirisov.

As Idirisov noted, individual farmers operating under small-scale production conditions face difficulties in effective operations, making unification into cooperatives practically mandatory. However, one significant problem remains the lack of trust among cooperative members. In this regard, Kyrgyzstan has begun to implement the practice of notarizing internal regulations of cooperatives.

Idirisov explained that such notarized documents allow for the prior determination of participation shares and income distribution based on each member's contribution, including land plots, equipment, and other resources. For example, a farmer owning 5 hectares of land will receive a smaller share of the profit than one who invested 50 hectares, which will be reflected in the notarized agreement.

According to him, last year, some cooperatives experienced internal conflicts precisely due to the lack of clear rules for income distribution. Currently, the ministry strongly recommends that all cooperatives develop and notarize internal regulations in advance so that they have legal force.

Idirisov added that cooperatives that have already implemented this practice face fewer conflicts and demonstrate more stable operations.
