The competitions are taking place from February 27 to 28 at the "Manas Ata" lyceum, organized by the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic in collaboration with the Talas Regional Methodological Center.
At the opening ceremony of the Olympiad, welcoming words were addressed to the participants by Saltanat Beishenova, the head of the Talas Regional Methodological Center, and Emil Madylbekov, the head of the presidential representative office in the region.
A total of 120 school students are participating in the Olympiad, representing various districts:
- Talas district/city — 37;
- Bakay-Ata district — 23;
- Aitmatov district — 34;
- Manas district — 26.
The participants are competing in a variety of subjects.
To ensure oversight of the competitions, a supervisory board has been formed, and the Talas Regional Methodological Center has developed the necessary regulations for its operation.
Jury compositions for each subject and the organizational committee responsible for conducting the Olympiad have also been determined.

- Kyrgyz language and literature
- Russian language and literature
- English language
- Mathematics
- Informatics
- History
- Geography
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
The Talas Regional Methodological Center has prepared internal regulations for the organization and conduct of the Olympiad, as well as provided accommodation for students arriving from the districts. Since the Olympiad coincided with the month of Orozo, monitoring of fasting compliance among students was conducted, and based on the number of those observing the fast, hot meals were organized twice a day.
