In Barpy, a man went to the barn for coal and discovered the disappearance of livestock — three young men detained

In the Suzak district, three men suspected of stealing livestock have been detained, reports the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jalal-Abad region.

On January 30, 2026, a statement was received at the Internal Affairs Department of the Suzak district from a resident of the village of Barpy, M.Sh., born in 1989. She reported that on the night of December 23 to 24, 2025, her husband, Mirlan, went into the barn for coal and discovered the disappearance of a cow, which the victim estimates to be worth 80,000 soms.

This information was registered in the Unified Register of Crimes by the investigative service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Suzak district, and a criminal case was initiated under Article 205-1 ("Theft of Livestock") of the Criminal Code.

During operational-search activities conducted by the staff of the Internal Affairs Department of the Suzak district, on February 22, 2026, the following individuals were detained:

- T.T., born in 1982 (a resident of the Suzak district);

- T.A., born in 2004 (a resident of the Suzak district);

- E.A., born in 2004 (a resident of the Bazar-Korgon district).

The judicial authorities of the Suzak district decided to keep the detainees in custody for a period of 1.5 months.

Currently, investigative activities are ongoing to establish any possible connections of the detainees with other similar crimes.
