On February 23, a citizen from the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region reported to the police about fraudulent actions by an acquaintance. According to him, in November 2025, this person gained his trust and promised to sell him two plots of land; however, after receiving the money and cars, he disappeared without fulfilling his obligations.
The victim stated that he first handed over 350,000 soms in front of a café, and then another 100,000 soms. He also valued his "VAZ-2107" car at 100,000 soms and his "Hyundai Elantra" at 700,000 soms. Thus, the total damage amounted to 1,250,000 soms.
The statement was registered in the electronic log of the Suylman-Too police department, after which investigative actions began.
During operational-search activities, law enforcement officers were able to establish the identity of the suspect. He turned out to be I.I., born in 1986, a resident of the Kara-Suu district, who was taken in for questioning.
During the preliminary investigation, his criminal actions were documented, after which the investigative service of the Suylman-Too police department initiated a criminal case under Article 209, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Fraud in a large amount").
According to the decision of the Osh city court, a preventive measure in the form of arrest for a period of two months has been chosen against the suspect.
It is worth noting that I.I. already had legal issues, having previously been repeatedly held criminally liable.
