The news agency "Kabar" reports that the CSTO Secretariat has commented on the recent airstrikes conducted by the USA and Israel against Iran.
In its statement, the Secretariat expressed deep concern regarding the onset of large-scale attacks that have resulted in civilian casualties. "We see serious risks associated with the escalation of this conflict," noted CSTO representatives, supporting the assessment made by the UN Secretary-General.
“We consider it extremely important for the parties to return to political negotiations as soon as possible and find a peaceful resolution to the conflict in accordance with international law and the UN Charter,” the statement added.
