The Ministry of Economy is shutting down fake companies that illegally issued export certificates

At a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on finance, budget, entrepreneurship, and competition development, deputy Ulanbek Zhaanbaev raised the issue of potential responsibility for laboratories that issue certificates of conformity and certificates of origin for the export of goods. He expressed concern that entrepreneurs at the border with Russia are facing serious problems and incurring significant financial losses.

Sultan Akhmatov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, explained that such problems arise due to the actions of fictitious companies that promise to issue certificates within one hour.

"Today we are taking measures to close these firms. We have conducted digitalization that allows us to track all stages—from the sources conducting tests to the protocols," he added.

The deputy also emphasized the need not only to liquidate these companies but also to hold them accountable, as this negatively affects the country's image.
