Officers from the patrol police of the Osh city police department confirmed this information. The incident took place the night before around midnight when the driver of a "Hyundai Sonata" lost control while driving at high speed.
Initially, the vehicle crashed into the road's dividing barriers, after which it veered into the oncoming lane, where it collided with four other cars, which also suffered material losses.
Administrative protocols were drawn up against the driver of the "Hyundai Sonata," and his vehicle was impounded. He has currently been fined 5,500 soms.
The Traffic Safety Department noted that this is only a preliminary measure. After the investigative actions and damage assessment are completed, the perpetrator of the incident will need to compensate the full amount for the damaged property to the owners of the affected vehicles.
