According to the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Chui Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, the incident happened on March 2 of this year at approximately 19:10 at the 58th kilometer of the mentioned road, near the "Hawaii" recreation area. As a result of the collision, the pedestrian died.
A response team from the Chui District Internal Affairs Department promptly arrived at the scene.
During the investigation, it was established that the driver I. A. R., born in 1989, was operating a Toyota Windom, moving from west to east. At that time, the pedestrian K. S. M., born in 1964, was crossing the road from north to south. Unfortunately, the pedestrian did not survive and died at the scene of the incident,” the official statement noted.
