A meeting was held in the capital municipality where Deputy Mayor Ramiz Aliyev discussed the state of road works with representatives of contracting firms.
Information about the condition of roads built in 2025 was presented at the meeting. As a result of the discussions, the deputy mayor decided to create a working commission to conduct a detailed inspection of the quality of the completed road works.
The commission has been tasked with conducting an inspection of the sites within 10 days and preparing recommendations regarding contractors who have committed violations. If unscrupulous companies are identified, a decision will be made to include them in the blacklist of contractors. The issue of punishing employees responsible for monitoring and accepting the work, up to dismissal, will also be considered.
The heads of four administrative districts have been instructed to quickly eliminate the identified shortcomings as soon as weather conditions permit.
"In 2026, the mayor's office does not intend to cooperate with those contracting organizations that did not fulfill their obligations properly in 2025," noted the deputy mayor.
The Bishkek mayor's office continues to pay special attention to improving road infrastructure. After the weather stabilizes, it is planned to eliminate all identified defects and begin work on the construction and reconstruction of new roads in the capital.
