During his working trip to the Osh and Jalal-Abad regions, the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Damirbek Osmonov, checked the operation of the Electronic Database of Medicines and Medical Devices (EDB), including the traceability module.

During an inspection at the pharmacy point of LLC "Neman-Pharm" based at the Jalal-Abad Regional Clinical Hospital, medicines were found that were not reflected in the electronic system. This fact became the basis for drawing up an act by authorized specialists.

The minister emphasized that the requirements for the registration and digital traceability of medicines apply to all participants in pharmaceutical activities, regardless of their ownership form. "Every medicine that is in circulation in the country must be registered in the electronic traceability system. This is a necessary step to ensure the transparency of the pharmaceutical market, compliance with legislation, and the protection of patients' rights," emphasized Damirbek Osmonov.

The record "Every medicine in Kyrgyzstan must be reflected in the electronic system," was first published on the K-News website.
