An exhibition 'Urkuya Salieva – a symbol of courage and freedom' will open in Bishkek

At the Memorial House-Museum of M.V. Frunze, an exhibition dedicated to Urkuya Salieva will be opened, which will be a significant event for all those interested in the history of Kyrgyzstan. Urkuya Salieva was one of the most prominent figures of her time, actively participating in the social transformations of the country.

According to information from the Ministry of Culture, the exhibition will allow visitors to learn more about her life, public activities, and the context of historical events of the 1920s-1930s. Archival photographs, documents, and the film "Bow to the Fire" will help create a comprehensive image of the woman who became a symbol of the struggle for equality and social change.

The goal of the event is to preserve historical memory and highlight the role of women in the evolution of Kyrgyz society.
