There was a meeting at the Ministry of Education with representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This fact was announced by the press service of the ministry.

The negotiations were attended by Deputy Minister of Education Lira Samykbaeva and Senior Education Advisor of JICA Murato Toshio.

The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in the educational sphere. In particular, the ministry representatives proposed to improve inclusive education in schools, focusing on modernizing infrastructure and training specialists to work with children with special educational needs.

Additionally, it was proposed to update the material and technical base of vocational colleges and to include elements of inclusive education in vocational training systems. An important aspect was the issues of professional development for teachers and experts, as well as the analysis and monitoring of education quality.

Lira Samykbaeva noted the significant experience of the Japanese education system and expressed gratitude for the support and opportunities provided by JICA within the framework of international programs.

Murato Toshio, in turn, reported on the development of a five-year strategic plan by JICA, in which education is one of the key areas. After analyzing the proposed initiatives, the main areas of interaction with the ministry will be identified.
